Boat Antifouling

Below the waterline showing signs of antifoul flaking

We recommend your boat be antifouled once every 12 months, or at the interval specified by your antifoul manufacturer. Regular antifouling will prevent heavy fouling, which affects your hull performance and fuel consumption.

Don’t fall into the trap of thinking “she’ll be right, anything will do” it is important to know the correct guidelines when antifouling, as some antifoul paints are incompatible with others, this can lead to severe flaking of antifoul from the hull, which leads to poor performance and unnecessary costs.

We use and recommend International Paints, but we are happy to use your preferred brand.
